About the photographs:
Flora is located in the northeastern corner of Oregon. It was named for the postmaster's daughter in the 1800's. Although regarded as a ghost town, it still has a few residents.
About the artist:
Richard LeBlond is a retired biologist living in North Carolina. He has been writing about life experiences, traveling to Europe and North Africa in the 1970s, and more recent adventures in eastern Canada and the U.S. West. His essays and photographs have appeared in several U.S. and international journals.
